Eastern Bridge Education (EBE) is a Private Training Establishment (PTE) delivering practical, learner-focused education for adults across Aotearoa.
We work with people from diverse backgrounds, including migrants, refugees, workplace learners, and adults who may have faced barriers to education, employment, or training opportunities.
Founded in Hawke’s Bay, EBE grew from community-based literacy and numeracy programmes designed to support learners in real-world settings. Since then, we have expanded into ESOL, digital skills, workplace training, and employment-focused education, working closely with employers, community organisations, and government agencies to deliver meaningful learning opportunities.
Committed to delivering accessible, culturally responsive programmes that enhance the skills and confidence of all learners, fostering meaningful connections and opportunities in Aotearoa.
We believe education should be accessible, practical, and connected to real outcomes. Our programmes are designed to help learners build confidence, improve communication, strengthen workplace capability, and progress toward employment, further study, and community participation.
We understand that many adult learners balance study alongside work, family, language barriers, or previous negative experiences with education. We meet learners where they are with a flexible and learner-centred approach that encourages engagement, progress, and success.
We believe strong communities are built through inclusive education, cultural understanding, and meaningful opportunities. We create learning environments that value diversity, respect, safety, encourage belonging, and help learners build confidence and connection.
We operate within a strong quality assurance framework aligned with NZQA requirements and continuous improvement practices. Our programmes are developed to support learner achievement while maintaining high standards of educational quality, learner wellbeing, and industry relevance.
